New beginnings starting with Kairos' 1st Annual Carnival & Fundraiser

First United Methodist Church in Richardson

Kairos Prison Ministry at Beto, an organization dedicated to impacting the hearts of incarcerated men about Jesus Christ's love and forgiveness hosted their first Annual Carnival and Fundraiser and clothing drive for One Man’s Treasure at the First United Methodist Church in Richardson on January 19th.

A group of volunteers coordinated by Marc Stern dedicated their time to gather donations for the event's silent auction and raffle, along with various amusing replications of traditional carnival games. They did not forget about the kissing booth accompanied with lots of chocolate Kisses!

One Man's Treasure was blessed with the opportunity to gather clothing donations at this 1st clothing drive initiative. A successful event with the help of our shepherds, male volunteers who deliver the sets of clothes to our clients, who helped us collect and fill two large bins with men's clothing donations from the Kairos volunteers and church’s members

We are grateful to Kairos and all the donors for partnering with us and helping our ministry's mission for 2019.

If you would like to host a clothing drive or donate to our cause, please contact us at info@onemanstr.org for more information.
