Tom Dooley

President

​

Tom is a former executive at Alcon Laboratories with 26 years of experience in sales, training, and management across the US, Japan, and Australia. Since returning to America in 2013, he has focused on nonprofit work in Dallas. He led a team of executive volunteers to develop a three-year strategic growth plan for One Man’s Treasure and now serves on its Board, contributing his expertise in corporate growth. Passionate about the organization’s mission, Tom also mentors and coaches individuals he has worked with throughout his career. He and his wife, Diane, have three married children and three grandchildren.

Matt Bomberger

Vice President

Matt lives in Dallas and has ten years of experience in sales, management, and operations, currently serving as Vice President of Operations and Sales at Bresatech. He spent four years on the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Fundraiser Board (Uncork the Cure-Wine Opener) and volunteered at Austin Street Shelter, assisting clients with resumes, interview skills, and food distribution. He also helped create templates to streamline resume processes. From 2015-2018, Matt served on the vestry of the Episcopal Church of the Incarnation, leading hurricane disaster missions. He brings a blend of corporate leadership and volunteer work with vulnerable populations to strengthen the board.

Angel Thompson

Secretary​

Angel has been with One Man’s Treasure for 12 years as a volunteer, employee, and now Board member and Treasurer. She served three years in the US Army before earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Woman’s University and working as an RN for eight years. After having two children, she joined the Rockwall ISD, where she served as a school nurse and District Coordinator, retiring after 24 years. Angel volunteered with One Man’s Treasure before retiring, then worked part-time as Clothing and Volunteer Coordinator for six years. She stepped down in 2019 and now serves as a Board Member. Angel and her husband, Rich, are active members of First United Methodist Church in Rockwall.

Christopher Plumlee

Treasurer

Christopher enjoyed a 25-year career holding leadership roles at Bank of America, Eastman Kodak, Staples, Dell, and HP, where he was known as a transformative servant-leader. In 2013, he founded Elevate Strategy Group, a sales consultancy focused on strategy, client engagement, coaching, and leadership development that partners with top organizations like Dannon, LegalZoom, Boeing, Coca-Cola, and SMU. He’s served on several corporate advisory boards and currently serves on boards for INROADS, Inc. and Catholic Charities of Fort Worth. He’s the Fundraising Chair for Sky Ranch, and a founding member of the African American Executive Networking Forum. He brings strategic insight and extensive nonprofit board experience to One Man’s Treasure.

John Arakelian

Director

John, a New Jersey native, worked for NCH Corporation as Sr. VP of Sales/Management Development for 41 years. Now semi-retired, he runs Arakelian Consulting. He and his wife, John, live in north Dallas and are active members of Cottonwood Creek Baptist Church in Allen. They have volunteered with Kairos Prison Ministry at the George Beto Unit for eight years, with John also serving as a weekend leader and State Kairos Advisory Council representative. In 2018, John began volunteering with One Man’s Treasure and joined the board in 2020, using his extensive business and volunteer experience to support the organization’s mission of serving the formerly incarcerated.

Mary Brouillette

Director​

​

Mary Brouillette recently retired as Vice President of Advancement at Brite Divinity School at TCU.  During the first half of her career she worked in marketing, public relations and communications. From regional marketing director at KPMG International, she moved into development and marketing at Perkins School of Theology at SMU and the University of Texas at Dallas before assuming her position at TCU. A member of St Michael & All Angels Episcopal Church in Dallas, Mary plans to continue her volunteer work in pastoral care ministries. She looks forward to contributing to the work of One Man’s Treasure as it continues in its growth of service.

Thomas "Mickey" Wardlaw

Directer

A resident of Dallas and long-time volunteer with One Man's Treasure delivering clothing to clients and supporting various events hosted by the organization, Mickey joined the board in 2018, bringing his experience in business, philanthropy and prison ministry to help expand the growth of the organization. He and his wife Ruth are members of Highland Park United Methodist Church and active in numerous organizations in the community.

Wade Blackburn

Director

Born in Dallas and raised in Grand Prairie, Wade attended Southern Methodist University and studied finance in the Cox School of Business. Upon graduation, he began working as a commercial real estate broker and developer in investment /land sales in the Dallas area and currently manages his own assets. He and his wife Lauren live in University Park and are blessed with four little girls. The family is active in worship at North Way Church. Wade brings a unique perspective to the organization to help grow the accessibility of the program to formerly incarcerated men and a desire to help strengthen the ministry aspect of One Man's Treasure's program in sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Julius K Smith

Director​

​

Julius is Vice President & Chief Information Officer for DART and a retired decorated US Army veteran. He brings his extensive professional background in technology, cybersecurity and operations to One Man's Treasure as we continue growth of service and ministry to men returning from incarceration.

OUR FOUNDER

Mary Carter

Mary has been a full time volunteer since 2001, including her service on the mission board of her church, with the Kairos Prison Ministry at the George Beto Unit, and in many aspects of One Man’s Treasure, both as founder and executive director from 2005-2010, then as board member and volunteer coordinator for several years. Mary’s professional experience includes 17 years of teaching and 15 years as music director at a local church. Her education includes a BA in Education from Louisiana Tech University with Math major and Master of Education from East Texas State University.
